Poor platform service 'significantly' affects 54% of advisers

More than half (54%) of advisers report poor service from platforms is significantly affecting their business, according to latest Parmenion research.

Its report, The Impact of Poor Platform Service, showed that while poor service was still a problem for more than half of advisers, the total was down from 80% last year. Parmenion said this suggested that platforms are working to improve their service levels. The number of advisers who said they have had to apologise to clients in the past year due to poor platform service remained high at 90% - the figure stood at 95% last year.
