Paraplanners are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) as regulatory pressures mount and workloads rise, Scottish Widows has found.

The provider's research, based on a survey of more than 200 paraplanners in the UK, found that paraplanners are harnessing AI and digital tools to boost efficiency. The findings showed that almost all (94%) have seen their workload increase due to regulatory change. To tackle these pressures, many are responding with innovation, with more than one in five (22%) now using AI either as part of their core processes or for specific tasks.
