LGT Wealth Management UK names Heinrich Henckel as CEO

Henckel is the former CEO of LGT Bank Switzerland

LGT Wealth Management UK CEO Ben Snee will step down after 13 years and will be succeeded by Heinrich Henckel early next year.

Henckel, former CEO of LGT Bank Switzerland and member of the LGT Private Banking board, will join LGT Wealth Management UK on 2 January 2026 and assume the role of CEO on 1 February 2026,  subject to regulatory approval. Joining LGT in 2009, Henckel was responsible for the Swiss and European client markets before becoming chief executive of the Swiss arm from 2013 to 2023. Olivier de Perregaux, CEO LGT Private Banking, said: "[Henckel] knows LGT inside out, and as a member of the LGT Wealth Management UK governing board, he is already well acquainted with our business in the UK.
