Chase de Vere CEO Kathleen Gallagher reflects on her previous experience as an adviser, the importance of next generation advice and culture when it comes to acquisitions.

When Gallagher took over the top job at Chase de Vere in May 2022, she had already spent more than two decades building her career within the business. Starting as a graduate trainee adviser in 2000, Gallagher progressed through advisory, management and executive roles before succeeding Stephen Kavanagh. In between, she helped steer the firm through one of the profession's most disruptive periods, taking over as director of advisory services just as the Covid-19 pandemic forced advisers to rethink how they delivered advice.
