Robo-advisers 'relegated to the history books' as JP Morgan drops Nutmeg brand

JP Morgan Chase will ditch the Nutmeg brand from November 2025, in a move that Boring Money CEO Holly Mackay has said "represents the end of robo-advisers as a stand-alone category in the UK".

JP Morgan Chase is set to launch JP Morgan Personal Investing in November 2025, available as both a standalone offering and part of the Chase UK app. The Personal Investing brand will replace digital wealth manager Nutmeg and will offer a range of products and services, including digital financial planning tools, relationship managers and, in 2026, a DIY investment platform. Nutmeg will be retired in the same month and customers will see their dashboard switch to the JP Morgan Personal Investing brand.
