Retail investors see cryto as a long-term investment opportunity

Retail investors have become more inclined to invest in cryptoassets, calling for broader access to the product.

According to research by WisdomTree, 40% of UK retail investors would be more likely to invest in crypto if the asset class was offered by their bank, platform or financial adviser. The results of the survey came as the Financial Conduct Authority is set to lift its ban on UK-listed crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs) from 8 October 2025.
