A sale process for wealth management firm Evelyn Partners is expected to begin from next month, Financial News has reported.

Evercore bankers have reportedly approached potential suitors with the aim of discussing a sale in October. Meetings with management have also been booked in, according to the source. Evercore was first appointed by Evelyn Partners' owners Permira and Warburg Pincus in 2022 to explore exit options for the business. It has now hired Evercore to manage the sale process. The investment bank also advised Evelyn Partners on its sale of its Professional Services business to funds advised by Apax Partners in 2024.
