Advisers’ role when it comes to SDR communication is ‘vital’

The Advisers' Sustainability Group (ASG) is hoping to share its latest findings to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) by this summer, delegates heard.

Speaking at the Future of Investment Festival  today (4 June), SRI Services founder and vice chair of the ASG Julia Dreblow highlighted that a financial adviser's role is "vital" when it comes to the communication of the Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) regime to clients. When asked about when further guidance will be available for financial advisers and where we are on timelines, and also if SDR could become part of the Consumer Duty regulation, Dreblow said that she is hoping that the ASG is going to communicate its report with the FCA by this summer.
