Companies House filings outline pre-Budget swoop

Wealth manager Mattioli Woods has acquired Stockport-based Cullen Wealth, Companies House filings suggest.

Companies House filings show that the wealth manager has taken a significant stake of 75% or more in Cullen Wealth's holding company. Cullen Wealth founder and chairman Richard Cullen is no longer a director of the holding company or its subsidiary, according to recent filings. He ceased to have a significant shareholding in the holding company as of 29 October, filings state. Mattioli Woods chief financial officer Ravi Tara and deputy CEO Michael Wright have been appointed as directors for both Cullen Wealth Holdings and its subsidiary Cullen Wealth.
