Global equity funds dominating in SIPPs, Hargreaves Lansdown finds

Self-invested personal pension (SIPP) clients remain comfortable taking risk, according to Hargreaves Lansdown (HL).

Global equity funds dominated the top ten funds bought in SIPPs in June, according to the provider's analysis of its clients' activity. Two bond funds also made the list as HL clients "wake up" to income opportunities, the company found. The top funds in SIPP for June 2024 were: Fundsmith Equity; Legal & General US Index; Legal & General International Index Trust; Rathbone Global Opportunities; Lindsell Train Global Equity; Fidelity Index World; Legal & General Global Technology Index Trust; Jupiter India; UBS S&P 500 Index; and Vanguard LifeStrategy 100% Equity.
