Wealthtime's Amira Norris: 'Don't assume you know clients' needs'

‘You have to proactively seek engagement and understand them’

Paraplanners and advisers should not assume that they know what their clients require and need, delegates heard.

Speaking at the Personal Finance Society's Purely Paraplanning conference today (8 May), Wealthtime head of sales and strategic partnerships Amira Norris said both paraplanners and advisers should proactively seek engagement and understand clients. "As paraplanners, advisers have needs that you should aim to meet," she said. This is important as the paraplanning community is "faced with the constant change that is happening," Norris explained.
