Both model portfolio services (MPS) and bespoke offerings are just as needed as each other, the industry agree.

In the latest PA Asks survey, we asked the industry if they think MPS represents the future of the investment proposition. It was a close result between those who responded ‘yes' (38%) and ‘no' (37%), whilst 25% said they ‘don't know'. One pundit said MPS does represent the future "as long as it is independent it terms of the underlying providers". For another respondent who voted yes, they also believe multi-asset investments will also play a "pivotal part" in the process. "But it [MPS] is not the only solution," another added.
