Who would you want to represent this industry on a world scale? Well…maybe not on a world scale, but on a nation-wide TV advert for financial advice.

St James's Place? ‘Nooooo!' I feel many of you saying. Although statistically, I guess it should really be SJP. That is exactly what is going to happen, with the advice giant announcing this week that it is set to launch its first national brand advertising campaign. It's hoping to "bring the benefit of financial advice to life". Sounds good! However, this will be many people's only interaction with what advice is.
