‘A planning centric approach is gaining more traction’

Financial planners need to upskill themselves in the ‘human’ side of their offerings in order to truly advocate for their clients and enhance the experience of receiving financial advice, delegates heard.

Speaking at NextGen Planners' Supernova 2023 conference today (16 June), Strategic Wealth Group founder and Chartered financial planner Amyr Rocha Lima told planners that the industry's future was "already here". "That gives us the biggest opportunity to become real leaders, and drive home the message that good leaders are here," he said. "Those planners who embrace change will be the ones to find success".
