Policy watch… The Financial Services Compensation Scheme published an update on its levy on 25 May, confirming it will drop it down to £270m for 2023/24, a significant change from the £478m it projected last November. PA news editor Sahar Nazir spoke to advisers would how they are preparing for the changed demand. Also, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued another warning this month on how it will discipline firms under the upcoming Consumer Duty regulation, telling advisers to expect "robust action" in event of poor compliance.
