Research finds only a third of advisers have tools in place to support ESG engagement

Sustainable investing forms part of client conversations for more than 90% of advisers, research has found, but just 33% have the right ESG tools in place to support rising levels of engagement.

Fidelity Adviser Solutions' third IFA DNA report showed that nine out of ten advisers (92%) spoke with clients about sustainable investing, with varying levels of interest on ESG investment options. It found that environmentally-focused (26%) and sustainability-focused (25%) solutions were the areas in which most advisers are experiencing client interest.
