Pension Awareness Week: Helping clients stop financial 'self-harm'

‘The vast majority of people self-serve, or don't seek advice’

Access to financial advice is very important as advisers provide peace of mind, a better outcome than consumers can obtain themselves while also stopping them from “financially self-harming”, according to My Pension Expert.

In light of Pension Awareness Week - ending today (4 November) - chief executive (CEO) Andrew Megson discussed the importance of engaging with one's pension which he described as the "second most important financial decision you make in your life after buying a house".
