Pension Awareness Week: Planning and advice for tradespeople

Plan ahead and save, experts tell older tradespeople

One in eight (13%) older tradespeople (55-64) don’t have a financial plan for retirement in place, a survey of 500 UK tradespeople conducted by The Leadership Factor on behalf of IronmongeryDirect finds.

The survey results have been published in line with this year's Pension Awareness Week, which addresses the issue of how people can tackle the challenge of preparing and saving for retirement. IronmongeryDirect has partnered with Nelsons senior associate and Chartered financial planner Fabian Taylor, and Hoxton Capital Management senior wealth manager George Stainton, to advise tradespeople on how to navigate those issues.
