Only 1/4 advisers confident of meeting clients' retirement goals

Advised investors less pessimistic about their retirement prospects

Only 25% of advisers were confident that most of their clients would meet their retirement goals, a drop from 34% when surveyed in March 2022, according to Embark.

The firm's  latest investor confidence barometer -  published today (31 October) - found that confidence fell by six percentage points for advised investors, down to 72% from 78% in March this year. This points to a growing confidence gap between advised investors and adviser, with the former more pessimistic about their clients' retirement prospects at a much faster rate than their clients.
