M&G to launch D2C investment service in H1 2023

Offering ‘ongoing support’ to new or recent direct investors

M&G Wealth plans to launch its own direct investment service, in the first half of next year, underpinned by the technology of digital investment firm Moneyfarm.

In January this year, M&G announced its partnership with Moneyfarm to launch its upcoming direct to consumer service, saying at the time that it was moving into direct investing as the market had seen rapid growth over the last five years. Asked about its target market in an interview with Professional Adviser, M&G Wealth director of strategy & proposition Riaan de Bruyn said that they were trying to attract "customers who either new to investment or, or who have already started investing, but need some support in how they put their portfolios together".
