Phoenix Group hires PIMFA's Tim Fassam as public affairs director

Phoenix Group has appointed Tim Fassam as public affairs director.

Fassam is set to join the long-term savings and retirement businesses on 30 August from the Personal Investment Management and Financial Advice Association (PIMFA), where he was director of government relations and policy.  Prior to that, he worked for TheCityUK as managing director, public affairs, policy and research and helped launch the Financial Services Skills Commission (FSSC), an independent, member-led body, representing the UK financial services sector on skills.
