Canada Life hires head of digital transformation

Katy Johnston has taken on a newly created role as head of digital transformation at Canada Life.

She will support the firm's ambition to consolidate its position in core markets while also providing a framework where it can more easily build out into new markets, Canada Life said. Johnston moved to the insurance provider from Aviva where she held a number of transformation leadership roles across both savings and retirement and general insurance. She has extensive experience in delivering large scale digital and operational transformation projects, according to Canada Life.
