Coutts launches in Scotland with three offices

NatWest-owned wealth manager and private bank Coutts has revealed it will be launching in Scotland.

The move, led by Alisdair Dewar, comes after the completion of the sale of the Adam & Company investment management business to Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management. Dewar, head of the Edinburgh office since 2015, has worked at Adam & Co for more than 20 years. Current Adam & Company banking and lending clients will continue to be served under the Adam & Company brand until the proposed integration of the business into Coutts in mid-2022, subject to approval. The Scotland launch will provide Scottish clients with easier access to Coutts broader private banking offering, the firm said. ...
