IWP adds £167m in assets with Encompass acquisition

Independent Wealth Planners (IWP) has acquired Southampton-based Encompass Financial Management adding £167m in assets under management and 458 clients for an undisclosed fee.

Encompass, an IFA firm formed in 2004, offers a full range of financial planning services. It has a core focus on lifestyle financial planning with the use of cashflow modelling. Its four directors are Mark Courage, Sean McGonagle, Sue Drake and Wayne Phillips.
