MacKay to head up AJ Bell Investcentre as Lyons moves to mobile platform

AJ Bell has appointed long-time marketing director Billy Mackay to managing director of its adviser platform AJ Bell Investcentre.

In his new role Mackay (pictured) will take on responsibility for the platform's development roadmap, distribution and adviser services proposition, in addition to his existing marketing responsibilities. Mackay has been marketing director of AJ Bell Investcentre for 13 years, during which time assets under administration on the platform have grown to £44.2bn. The incoming managing director will take over from Fergus Lyons on 1 October 2021.
