Michael Findlay to chair FCA's Markets Practitioner Panel

Michael Findlay is to be the next chair of the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) independent Markets Practitioner Panel.

Findlay, who is non-executive chair of the London Stock Exchange, will take up the post from 1 July. He will take over from interim chair Tim Waddell, who is vice chairman, global corporate and investment banking for EMEA, BofA Securities. The panel provides external and independent input to the FCA from the point of view of financial market participants, the regulator explained.
