We're asking readers whether the Chartered Insurance Institute should return to sending exam certificates in the post, rather than uploading a plain-looking PDF to an online hub.

Ending an era of sending physical certificates in the post, the CII now uploads PDF files that advisers can download and print off. The body has also changed the design of the certificates for both regulated and unregulated qualifications.  Grosvenor and Birch Chartered financial planner Lewis birch was disheartened to receive his certificates via PDF last week: "Although it might seem superficial and an inappropriate time to moan about a piece of paper, gaining fellowship was a goal that seemed so distant at one stage.
