Hargreaves share tips ‘worse than guessing' "More than half the funds recommended by Hargreaves Lansdown in its best-buy list this time last year have achieved lower than average returns," reports The Sunday Times. This time last year - almost to the day on January 9 2019 - Hargreaves unveiled the 61 funds it was promoting to customers on a favourite funds list it called the Wealth 50. Since then, 33 have done worse than the average for their sector and just 28 have done better, according to analysis shown to the paper by Candid Financial Advice.
