Franklin Templeton names Jennifer Johnson as new CEO

Jennifer M. Johnson has been appointed president and CEO of Franklin Templeton Investments, taking over the role from current CEO, Gregory E. Johnson, who will become executive chairman. Both appointments will become effective on 11 February 2020, the company's Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Ms Johnson will be responsible for the operation of all aspects of the business and will set "long-range strategic objectives and drive corporate priorities".
