Tilney names new Belfast director of financial planning

Wealth management giant Tilney has a new director of financial planning as part of its expansion in Belfast.

The London-based firm, which manages £25bn of assets, promoted financial planner Simon Martin into the newly-created role along with two other appointments. Martin worked the past three years at Tilney after more than two decades in the UK banking and asset management sectors. Chris McVeigh, former Ulster Bank director, joined Tilney's Belfast offices as managing partner and adviser Alison Dean has joined as a financial planner from advice firm Davy Private Clients.
