Adviser firm Kingswood launches cash platform proposition

Financial advice firm Kingswood has partnered with cash deposit platform developer Flagstone to launch a cash proposition to its 4,500 clients.

The AIM-listed wealth manager said the platform would offer its clients access to more than 550 cash deposit account options from 32 banks through a single, consolidated application. The  firm, which has £2bn of assets under advice and management, said savings apathy had become a "real issue" in the UK. It referenced a report from the Centre for Economics and Business Research that found there was around £170bn sat in zero-interest accounts, up from £33bn in 2008.
