IA recruits AREF to expand property expertise

The Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) is joining the Investment Association (IA), as the latter makes an effort to expand its membership offering in the property sector.

A memorandum of understanding between the two industry groups will see them combine their resources and expertise, while members will benefit from an expansion of their member services. As was the case with previous partnerships such as Investment 20/20, AREF, which represents over 65 members with a combined £72bn in AUM, will retain its brand identity and continue to focus on promoting best practice in governance and transparency among fund members.
