Tideway launches DB transfer videos for potential clients

Pension adviser and investment manager Tideway Investment Partners has created a range of online tutorials that provide information, explanation and guidance on defined benefit (DB) transfers.

The firm said the free tutorials were designed to help people understand their options and start to think about what their DB pension meant to them. They are aimed at potential clients, along with those who might have an interest in the process, it added. The 10 to 15-minute online tutorials can be watched online and cover topics such as why transfer values go up and down, why taking a tax-free cash sum can impact a transfer decision, and how to lower the risks associated with income drawdown.
