Brooks Macdonald is set to axe 50 jobs in efforts to improve the company's efficiency, secure future growth and deliver medium-term margin improvement.

The firm told investors on Thursday (10 January) that it expects job cuts to take place "predominantly" within administration and IT functions, which it said will result in annualised cost savings of £4m.
