While advisers had to contend with the likes of MiFID II and GDPR and preparing for 2019's introduction of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, the biggest news to emerge from the platform sector in 2018 concerned a number of initial public offerings, the confusing regulation that is PROD and, of course, re-platforming.
