Fidelity's Ian Spreadbury to retire

Will step down at the end of 2018

Fidelity's Ian Spreadbury will retire at the end of the year after 23 years with the firm.

Spreadbury, who joined Fidelity in 1995, is senior portfolio manager and lead manager of the flagship £3.7bn  Moneybuilder Income, Stategic Bond, Flexible Bond and Extra Income and funds. He also co-manages the Moneybuilder Balanced and Short Dated Corporate Bond funds. Following three years as co-manager, Sajiv Vaid will become lead manager on the MoneyBuilder Income and Extra Income funds. Kristian Atkinson will support Sajiv Vaid as co-manager on the MoneyBuilder Income fund and the Short Dated Corporate Bond fund. Peter Khan will also support Sajiv as co-manager of the Fidelit...
