Who triumphed at the IW Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2018?

Professional Adviser's sister publication Investment Week has revealed the winners of its Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2018, which took place at Grosvenor House in London last night.

The first stage of the judging was a quantitative process to arrive at the finalists list and a panel of top fund selectors then judged each category in their area of expertise to arrive at the winners list. This year's Global Group of the Year Award was won by Baillie Gifford, which the judges highlighted as "one of the most consistent and disciplined investment houses". They were also impressed the group had effectively put forward the case for active management, while at the same time reviewing its fee structures.
