Ten new funds added to FE Approved List in latest rebalance

Funds from Stewart Investors and Troy Asset Management have been eliminated from FE's Approved List in the data provider's latest biannual reshuffle.

Six funds were removed from the April list, several of which are responsible for significant assets under management (AUM), such as Janus Henderson Investors' £2.1bn European Selected Opportunities and Fidelity's £1.2bn American Special Situations funds. Stewart Investors' flagship £7.6bn Asia Pacific Leaders fund, which is run by David Gait and Sashi Reddy, was also booted from the list. Charles Younes, research manager at FE, said this was due to concerns that capacity in the fund was being continuously stretched, which posed a risk to returns.
