Pension freedom driving rise in client enquiries - Retirement Advantage

The majority of advisers have seen an increase in new client enquiries since the introduction of the pension freedoms three years ago, according to research from Retirement Advantage.

More than half of advisers (54%) have seen an increase in new client enquiries, according to the study, while a similar amount (52%) have experienced an increase in clients seeking general advice. A quarter (27%) of the 100 advisers surveyed online said they had seen an increase in the number of people looking to transfer their final salary pension. One in 10 respondents, however, were less positive and said pension freedom had not had a positive impact on their business.
