The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has appointed acting chief operating officer Nausicaa Delfas to executive director of international after the return of Georgina Philippou.
Delfas will be responsible setting the FCA's strategy for international engagement and leading its delivery in her new role at the regulator. Delfas has been acting chief operating officer and a member of the regulator's executive committee since November 2016, but has moved roles at the return of Georgina Philippou to her role as COO after a period of extended leave. Delfas has worked at the FCA - previously Financial Services Authority - since the turn of the century.
