Autumn Budget 'highly constrained' by Brexit negotiations - Vince Cable

Chancellor Philip Hammond has little room for manoeuvre in the Autumn Budget due to the constraints of Brexit negotiations, Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable has said.

Speaking at the Tax Incentivised Savings Association (TISA) annual conference, Cable (pictured) said what happens in the Budget tomorrow will be "massively coloured" by Brexit and warned long-term policies were being ignored as the negotiations "sucked the life" out of government.
