GrowthInvest adds VCT offers to platform

Tax-efficient adviser platform GrowthInvest has launched a dedicated venture capital trust (VCT) space, offering the latest fundraises alongside its existing Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), Seed EIS, single companies offerings and portfolios.

The new service can facilitate execution-only and advised investments on new VCT offers and allows advisers and their clients to access "key data" on existing VCTs, plus links to third party information and research. VCTs had its second highest-selling year in 2016/17, with £542m invested into the tax-efficient sector. A number of VCTs have already opened in what appears to be another strong year for the sector, with Octopus's Titan VCT seeking to complete what would be a record-breaking £120m fundraise if it fills to capacity.
