Informed Choice IFA launches on Amazon's Alexa

Financial advice firm Informed Choice has launched a daily news feed on Amazon's responsive voice technology platform Alexa.

The firm is the first financial adviser to work with Alexa and will broadcast its daily updates alongside the likes of BBC News, Sky News and the Met Office. Known as ‘flash briefings', Informed Choice intends to use the recordings to offer users five-minute updates of key industry news and headlines. Flash briefings were launched on Amazon Echo and Echo Dot in March. Informed Choice said it developed its own briefings to build on the success of the firm's radio podcast, that recently celebrated reaching 250 episodes and 100,000 downloads.
