Investec poaches financial planning directors from Rathbones

Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) is expanding its Liverpool and Manchester offices with the hires of two financial planning directors, both from Rathbones.

Lee Burberry joined the firm's Liverpool office, while Gary Taylor will work for Investec in Manchester. Both men have more than 30 years' financial services experience, and have achieved the Chartered Insurance Institute's chartered financial planning status. They both worked at the Rathbones Liverpool office prior to joining IW&I, advising clients on all aspects of financial planning including on pensions, estate and tax planning and protection, before joining Investec.
