SimplyBiz agrees new DB transfer deal after Selectapension suspension

Offers advisers a 'viable alternative'

SimplyBiz has launched a new defined benefit (DB) pension transfer bureau in partnership with Creative Wealth Management following Selectapension's temporary suspension from undertaking DB transfers.

The service will be available immediately to all members of the group, and exists to support advisers who feel their clients' needs would be best served by a pension transfer specialist. It will operate alongside the existing agreement Simplybiz has with Selectapension, the firm said. CEO Matt Timmins said the group wanted to ensure it offered advisers a "viable alternative" in addition to the "existing solution with Selectapension".
