The two highest earners in the Financial Conduct Authority made the news earlier in July when it was revealed chief executive Andrew Bailey and competition boss Christopher Woolard took home more than £400,000 each last year. Both men earned more than £50,000 in bonuses, with Bailey earning a total salary of £449,000 and Woolard a competitive £409,000.
