Evalue robo-adviser among 24 successful projects in FCA sandbox

Evalue's online workplace advice process is among 24 tech projects that will begin testing on consumers as part of the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) regulatory sandbox facility.

The firm has developed an on-going, fully automated online streamlined advice process for employees in the workplace, which is designed to "help them set and achieve realistic retirement goals". It was part of 77 applications for the second phase of the FCA's sandbox, 24 of which were now ready to begin testing in a 'live environment', the regulator said. Also among the firms is Moneyhub Enterprise, a financial planning guidance app, which combines artificial intelligence, data analytics and psychology to nudge consumers to "encourage affirmative financial actions".
