PA Awards audience raises £5,500 for Mind - plus the night in pictures

As well as helping to celebrate and honour the very best from both the UK's adviser community and associated areas of the financial services sector at the 2017 Professional Adviser Awards, the 450-strong audience raised just shy of £5,600 for mental health charity Mind.

With £3,060 raised through pledges and cash donations and £2,526 through the silent auction, the final figure of £5,586 was more than £2,200 ahead of the total raised at last year's Awards. Mind's senior corporate partnerships officer Anna Murray said: "A huge thank you to both Professional Adviser for supporting Mind in 2017 and to everyone who donated on the night. "These donations will enable Mind to provide potentially life-saving support through our new crisis webchat service, supporting more than 1,000 people every month."
