‘Rip-off' fees of top 10 pension fund provider St James's Place (SJP) receives a grilling in this Sunday Times article, which tells the story of a retired solicitor looking to switch his pension savings to another firm and having trouble "fathoming" the exit fees involved. According to the piece, his total charges turned out to be roughly a third of the £112,000-odd by which his retirement pot had grown over the six years it had been with SJP.
