FCA technical specialist joins TCC

Former technical specialist in life insurance and financial advice at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Phil Deeks, has joined regulatory consultant The Consulting Consortium (TCC) as technical director.

Deeks will work in TCC's advisory team where he will lead research into regulatory requirements and expectations and be responsible for overseeing client projects. TCC is a consultancy focusing on FCA culture and conduct risk. Prior to joining the firm in September, Deeks spent more than two years at the regulator in charge of supervising risk in life insurance, financial advice and the platform space.
